Dispute of Entangled Lovers’ is an original String Quartet piece composed for the Saad Haddad 2nd Composition Contest (String Edition). This piece was written to broaden my composition skills and portfolio, as well as to learn how to push myself during the summertime to create a piece that was both fun and enjoyable to players and audience members alike. The World Premiere of this piece was on November 20th, 2024 @ the Colorado State University Hoag Recital Hall in Pueblo, CO. Performed by the Colorado State University Pueblo’s Chamber Orchestra, led under the direction of Dr. Oleksii Hamov.
