Amongst the Stars is a Choral SATB Piece consisting of Soprano voice (divisi), Alto Voice (divisi), Tenor voice, Bass voice, and accompaniment Piano. This piece was written to broaden my composition skills and portfolio, as well as to learn how to better write works for voice to create a piece that I believe would be great and accessible for public school settings. The World Premiere of this piece was on April 19th, 2024 @ the Colorado State University Pueblo Hoag Recital Hall in Pueblo, CO. Performed by the Colorado State University Pueblo Chamber and Concert Choir, led under the direction of Dr. Jennifer Bruton.
