All About Me!

Hannah Sin-Purnell (b. 2002) is an aspiring composer currently studying at Colorado State University Pueblo. Her compositions, ranging from instrumental and choral concert music, have been presented and premiered by her fellow peers in multiple ensembles at Colorado State University Pueblo. Along with having the honor of presenting her works during numerous Student Research Spring Symposiums under the Discovery Scholars Program, led under the direction of Dr. David Volk. Influenced by her mixed American and Korean cultures, she aspires to combine musical styles within both Western and Eastern musical ideas to create a wonderful fusion of hybrid music.

 

She is a registered member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) as an active composer in Colorado. She is currently completely self-published under her publishing name SinMusicPublishing.

She plans to graduate from Colorado State University Pueblo with her Bachelor's in Art with an emphasis in Music Performance on Bb Bass Clarinet, along with completing her minor in Music Theory & Composition. Aspiring to become a professor of Music Theory and Composition in the future while also being a successful self-published composer, her goal is to achieve her Master's of Music specializing in Composition.
